I've up[date to Zikula 1.2.0. I'm noticing that my PNphpBB2 has a version in the Admin panel of PNphpBB2 of 1.2i-p3. I know one of the updates after patching never changed the version numbers so I'm not sure if I have 1.2i-patch4-RC2 installed, but I don't think I do. How do I tell for sure if it's already been patched?
Also, I went ahead and patch my development site with 1.2i-patch4-RC2 and upon activating I received a:
<b>Fatal error: Class 'sql_db' not found in /PNphpBB2/includes/db.php on line 60</b>
I have completed a search and I was able to get several clues on how to fix this but I'm now confused. What is the definitive answer on how to fix this?
Also, updating to Zikula 1.2.0 I noticed some reference about UTF-8 for PNphpBB2.
<b>You need to convert all templates to UTF-8, all language files and the content of the forum tables in the database before upgrading to Zikula 1.2.0</b>
Exactly how do you do this? I'm guessing that all the files are in the 'templates\PNTheme' folder? |

As stated several times already here and in the community.zikula.org forums, and documented in this http://code.zikula.org/zafenio/ticket/8 bug report: The PNphpBB2 installer (which also is responsible for upgrades) is not adapted to be used on Zikula yet. So, you can install and upgrade PNphpBB2 on PN, and then upgrade to Zikula. Alternatively, just replace the files with the newest PNphpBB2, and after the installer error manually fix the module version and activation state in the database.
Running PNphpBB2 on Zikula 1.2.x will be supported, but is definitely not with any beta or RC version. You are on your own to take care for the necessary UTF-8 conversion and date issues.
General advice: Only run published stable versions if you are not interested in finding and fixing bugs. And never run beta or RC versions on sites you depend on, except you know very well what you are doing.

| The install was on a development Zikula 1.2.0 site, and it's not installed. The date issue is with 1.2i-p3, and if you could clear that up, that would be great. |
